Donation Helps Turn the Page Toward Oshkosh Children’s Museum

A meaningful donation is helping bring a big vision to life in Oshkosh. Clarity Care, Inc., a local nonprofit, has donated a variety of children’s books, art supplies, and furniture—valued at $7,800—to the Oshkosh Kids Museum, a community-driven initiative working to fund a future children’s museum in Oshkosh.

The items were discovered in a recently acquired building formerly used as a daycare, where they had been left behind when the center closed. As Clarity Care prepared the space for renovation, they saw an opportunity to extend the life—and impact—of these items.

This is truly a gift that will keep giving,” said Steve Horstmann, CEO of Clarity Care. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know these items will continue to support children while also supporting a vision that will benefit our entire community.”

“We are beyond grateful,” said Lisa Heller, Board President of Oshkosh Kid’s Museum. “These items will contribute to something lasting—a place where children can learn, explore, and grow through play. This is how a community comes together to invest in its future.” With a goal to bring a children’s museum to Oshkosh by 2027, every contribution moves the vision one step closer to reality.
